Mayor’s Charity Gala showcases Logan’s local talent

The City of Logan Charitable Trust (CoLCT) is proud to celebrate the incredible local businesses and creative individuals helping bring this year’s Mayor’s Charity Gala to life.  

While CoLCT is best known for supporting grassroots charities and community organisations, its impact extends further by creating opportunities to showcase Logan businesses and individuals who are significant parts of shaping Logan’s vibrant community. Most of the time, you can find everything you need in our city.  

From event styling and catering to photography, videography, and local produce, this year’s Gala highlights the talent and community spirit that make Logan such a great place to work and belong. Even the gala’s presenting partners – River Road Tavern and Eagle Taven – are proud Logan businesses focused on supporting the community. It is proof that some of the greatest talent can be found right here in our own backyard. 

CoLCT Deputy Chair, Mayoress Ali Raven, said the event will reflect the city itself. 

“Logan is home to some truly remarkable people and businesses,” Mayoress Raven said. 

“One of the things I love most about this city is the passion people have for supporting each other and creating a strong sense of community. 

“The Mayor’s Charity Gala is not only about raising funds for important causes, it’s also about celebrating the talented people who help make Logan the incredible city it is.” 

Guests will experience an enchanted garden-themed evening brought to life by Logan-based stylist Elysian Event Hire. 

Elysian Event Hire Director, Saalihah Seedat, said being involved in the event was a privilege and an opportunity to support both the community and local business. 

“It is a privilege for Elysian Event Hire, a local Logan business, to have been chosen to bring this year’s Mayor’s Charitable Gala Dinner theme to life. 

“We are passionate about creating memorable experiences, and it’s an honour to contribute to such a significant event that brings our community together in support of important local causes. 

“Supporting local businesses is something we value deeply because strong local partnerships help our entire community thrive. Every opportunity to work together strengthens our local economy, creates jobs, encourages innovation, and builds lasting relationships that benefit the Logan region for years to come.” 

Woolworths Group Manager, Darren Storer, said supporting the Mayor’s Charity Gala was an extension of the company’s longstanding commitment to the Logan community. 

“As a long-standing member of the Logan community, Woolworths is proud to stand alongside local businesses to support the Mayor’s Charity Gala,” Mr Storer said. 

“We know how important it is to pull together for our region, and we’re delighted to contribute $1,000 in Woolworths gift cards to help make a real, practical difference for those who need it most.” 

This year’s gala will also feature support from Logan Catering Co., KWP Studios, Zesty Productions, Herb St Nature Gifts, Poppy’s Chocolate and many others committed to making the evening a success. 

Through partnerships like these, the City of Logan Charitable Trust continues to demonstrate that investing in local people and businesses goes hand in hand with supporting local charities.  

The 2026 Mayor’s Charity Gala stands as a celebration of what makes Logan special: a community of passionate people, thriving local businesses and a shared commitment to helping others.
