For the better part of Sheridan’s career she specialised in Human Resources and Employee Relations and has held a number of senior roles in Education, Health, Manufacturing and retail, including running her own ER consultancy. Six years ago she took on a new challenge and embarked on an operations career. She currently heads up an operations leadership team of 13 in a senior retail operations lead role, currently the State Manager for BWS in Qld.
Sheridan has been on a number of Governing Boards, both voluntary and paid roles in government, schooling and child care, Safety and Nursing and Midwifery. Sheridan brings to her roles strategic, legal, financial, employment relations, WH&S, governance, human resources and operational experience. She has university qualifications in Arts, Psychology, Business, Human Resources and Applied Law to Masters Level and is a trained and experienced mediator.
Sheridan’s most recent Board role prior to the City of Logan Charitable Trust Director role, was her 3 year appointment to the APRHA Qld Nursing and Midwifery Board where she played an active role overseeing the regulation of Nursing professionals in Qld.
In 2023, Sheridan won the national People’s Choice Award for the Endeavour Groups Imprint Awards, recognising the positive and lasting imprint she leaves on her organisation and the people she comes into contact with by living the values of the organisation.
Sheridan is creative and enjoys using her creative talents to think outside of the box and to add some fun to the everyday. She is keen to use her qualifications, experience and connections to help others in the community and to selflessly give back to those in need of some extra support.
